Since 1897, Bumbershoot: Seattle’s Music & Arts Festival has drawn artists representing the best in music, film, comedy, spoken word, dance, theatre, performance, and visual arts to the Seattle Center over Labor Day weekend.

The Fremont Arts Council celebrates the autumnal equinox on Thursday September 21st with the sweet & illuminating ‘Luminata’ lantern parade around Green Lake in Seattle. Lanterns are a beautiful symbol of our spirit as a community that will sustain us through the cold months.
On Saturday, September 23, Run the Mountain is an event that will raise funds for youth in foster care, giving them resources and supplies to have a positive experience in school. Participants can choose between a 5K, 10K or 15K single-track trail route with winding up and down elevation changes.
